How to fill a bucket

We have been discussing the invisible buckets above our heads that everyone has. When people have kind words and actions, it fills our bucket. If someone is hurtful or rude, it takes away from our bucket and it takes away from their bucket too! Helping friends and making them feel good about themselves is an important objective in our classroom. We become powerful advocates and a positive continuum in or community when we have positive communication. Here is a list of ideas we came up with on how to fill a friend’s bucket. Mr. Aultman came to visit us and shared a great story on how to fill buckets as well.

Tooty Ta

We have so much fun in Kindergarten doing the Tooty Ta! This helps us understand positional words and body parts. Let's just face it, sometimes we just need to have some fun!!

Aren't they precious?

These are my new friends. We take a picture infront of this tree every month to see the changes of the seasons!
