Day 2 - Eggsperiment

Eggciting Eggsperiment

Today we began working on an experiment with eggs. We discussed the parts of an egg and how they smell and feel. I explained to my friends that we would add vinegar to a cup with an egg inside of it. Next we made predictions of what we thought would happen.


Mrs. Redfern gave us each our own journal where we wrote our prediction of what we think will happen to the egg.





Then Mrs. Redfern put an egg with vinegar on each table for us to observe. We made observations of what we saw. A lot of us saw bubbles, but some of us said the egg got bigger!




I think both observations are accurate.

Computer Lab

Once a week, we go to the computer lab to develop our research and information fluency skills. Students are becoming familiar with how to utilize the browser, locate letters on the keyboard and develop fine motor skills. This is our favorite block of the week!
